All ages are invited to join us on Saturday, June 22, for Home Plate 2024, a pre-game program at 9:30am with the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park, followed by the Detroit Tigers v. White Sox baseball game at 1:10pm.
The pre-game program will feature Tiger pitchers Will Vest, Tyler Holton, & Mason Englert, outfielder Kerry Carpenter, White Sox 1st baseman/rightfielder Gavin Sheets, retired Tiger Frank Tanana, and Christian Recording Artist Matt Hammitt for a program that will include these athletes speaking about their careers in professional sports and faith in Jesus Christ. Additional speakers from the Tigers, White Sox, and other sports may be added.
Meet at church at 6:30am to travel together in the church vans, planning to return around 7:00pm. This year we will be offering two different seating options, either upper deck or infield lower deck box seats. Cost to attend is $43 or $91 to cover the ticket price and transportation. Payment can be made online with your registration. Register HERE by Sunday, May 12.
