Alpine Elementary Volunteers
Alpine Elementary is in need of several volunteers thru-out the school year for a variety of different activities. Contact Julie Wilson at 791-2103 or email Julie Wilson Alpine elementary is a school in the local Kenowa Hills system. Remembrance has been in partnership with Alpine for the last couple of years. 60 % of the student population at Alpine are economically disadvantaged.

Mission Descriptions
- Alexander, Dave & Char: missionaries to Taiwan. Dave is the counselor and advisor to international students at Tainan Theological College. Char teaches English at Chang Jung Christian University.
- Batiz, Victor: Pastor in the Primero De Mayo Community in Comayagua, Honduras.
- Beteta, Carmen: runs a very successful orphanage, Hogar de Ninos, Nazereth (All God’s Children) in Comayagua, Honduras.
- Brecheisen, Dave and Joscey: works in Chicago with GRIP which engages urban youth with highly structured creatively charged programs that combine sports, team-building, drama, teaching and small groups
- Bright, Jim and Linda: work locally with Living Water Ministry which was founded by Carl Gunn and has Christ-centered programming in area jails and also works with parolees.
- Bristol, Robert and Amy: work with Mission to the World in Mexico. Moved in July to Monterrey where Robert will be teaching at a seminary.
- Castillo, Maria Cledia: in charge of the Community Children's Feeding Center near Comayagua, Honduras (Refugee Community Church).
- Chavarria, Nehemias: pastor of a church in San Pedro Sula Honduras for about 15 years. Now he is also the National Director of the Avance Misionero Mission and the Bible Institute.
- Daniel, Mono: works in India through the Faith Prayer and Tract League. Coordinates tract distribution, evangelism, church planting, film ministry, etc.
- Ekstrom, David: works with CAM International (Central American Missions) in Guatemala, getting translations of the scriptures made and distributed in indigenous languages.
- Gaikema, Tim & Teresa: work with Family Life ministries in coordinating Weekend to Remember conferences.
- Greenville church plant: new church plant, led by Eric Branch.
- Hendrix, Scott & Therese: work with Global Aid Network which provides material relief to some of the poorest people in the world while also sharing the gospel with them.
- McCleery, Dave and Linda: work for I.N. Network which supports indigenous missionaries who focus on evangelism, discipleship, and community development.
- Pagan, Serafin: preaches and teaches in Jinotega, Nicaragua. Also is a major connection for us in our partnership with those we support in Honduras.
- Remer, Wade: works for Wycliffe Bible Translators recruiting and encouraging young people who might be candidates to work as Bible translators.
- Rockhills Church: church plant in San Antonio led by Dave Lantz.
- Schreuder, Alan & Sue: work in Chiapas, Mexico training Tzotzil church leaders.
- St. Amour, Joel: works in Haiti as the national director of Christian World Outreach.
- Vis, Marlin & Sally: work in Jerusalem to help Palestinian Christians however they can.
- Yoder, Greg: directs the international ministry of Christian World Outreach.
- Zomer, Dave & Joy: pastor two churches in Sicily and also lead two preschools and implement church programs to help the homeless and at-risk teens.
- Audio Scripture Ministries: make and distribute audio versions of scripture for those who cannot read around the world.
- Bible League: provide scriptures and training worldwide.
- Camp Geneva: RCA camp in Holland, Michigan.
- Christian Aid: support indigenous missionaries around the world, especially in places where there are few Christians.
- Cran-hill Ranch: RCA camp in Rodney, Michigan.
- Forgotten Man Ministries: supports jail ministry in local jails in Michigan.
- Gospel for Asia: supports indigenous missionaries in the poorest parts of Asia.
- GVSU Campus Ministry: shares the Gospel and ministers to students at Grand Valley State University.
- International Aid: responds to the Biblical mandate to care for the sick, feed the hungry and help the poor, especially in crises areas, around the world
- Marketplace ministry: Grand Rapids ministry which provides affordable, Biblical counseling to those who otherwise might not seek counseling, so that they can discover the healing presence of Jesus Christ.
- Other Way: inner city ministry on the west side of Grand Rapids.
- Pregnancy Resource Center: Christian ministry to those experiencing crisis pregnancies.
- Right to Life of Michigan: provides education about what really happens in abortion and other life issues.
- Western Michigan Teen Challenge: Christian ministry to those who have hit rock bottom due to drug or alcohol abuse.
- Words of Hope: proclaims Jesus Christ through broadcasting in the languages of the world’s peoples.
