Children and Worship is an exciting way children ages 3 through second grade
can experience God while worshiping in a special place designed just for them.

We Approach God

• The greeters help children get ready to enter.
• When we are all in the circle, we greet on another.
• We sing songs of praise

We Proclaim God's Word

• The worship leader tells the story or parable.
• We follow the story with a time of wondering and reflecting.
• Children the work independently or in small groups with story materials and art work.

We Give Thanks to God

• The worship leader reads the story from the Bible.
• Everyone participates in prayers of thanksgiving.
• Greeters distribute the “feast” (snack).

We Go in God's Name

• We sing songs.
• The worship leader gives each child a special blessing.
